The Conditions for Weight Loss

The first thing that must be addressed is the cause of the weight gain. There are different reasons and we will look at a few. Think back when you first noticed the pants, shirt or blouse feeling tight. What was happening in your life at that time?
- Divorce and work related stress are both emotional events. Eating inappropriately during these periods could mean that you use food for emotional release or change.
- The antibiotic drugs given during an illness or pregnancy can change your body chemistry or metabolism which leads to weight gain.
- A change in lifestyle can turn your eating habits for the worse. Living on your own, a new job, a second job, work and school together can create a very hectic life tempting people to eat more fast food and including eating their last meal right before bedtime.
- A lack of exercise encourages a slow metabolism. Perhaps you're exercising a lot less than before, or perhaps you're not exercising at all. Not only does exercise burn calories, but it raises your metabolism and helps to keep it raised through-out the day. You* 11 burn more calories for a longer period of time because of your increased metabolism. Also, exercise benefits all of the chemical processes within your bodily systems creating better health and vitality for you.
- Another important ingredient for proper weight management is sleep. If you are not getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night or you're having restless sleep, you may become a candidate for weight gain due to the improper metabolism of sugar.
Whatever the reason is, your health, vitality, and energy is waiting for you.
